Created for Ikea’s Hometown Make-over Contest, this 3-minute piece is a playful look at the center of our universe -- Media, PA.  Compiled entirely from still photos (about 5000), this film managed to place 2nd out of 50 entries from around the country and win a $5000 Ikea gift certificate for nine businesses in Media, PA.  Viewed by more than 57,000 people, the film received almost 6000 votes, and 72 pages of glowing viewer comments.  To learn more about Media, visit the town's homepage.  To learn about Media's Fair Trade commitment, watch our video here, or click here for the Fair Trade website.

Of course it's impossible to get ALL the good stuff in a three-minute video. You captured the SPIRIT of this town! I love working in Media with all of these warm, wonderful people!! Great Job Rich!

As a filmmaker from Media, I loved this piece! Amazing that we're getting such publicity! Oh, and kudos on the still stop-motion technique, it worked really well for this piece.

thank you coyopa!!!!!! what a well-done piece about media in such a small amount of time! I have lived here since I was in diapers. media is the place where you grow up, graduate from high school, go away to college and come back again to live, go to the fun bars & then raise a family! I am always proud to say I am from media!
