FRIDAYS AT THE FARM - REVIEWS & COMMENTS
“A couple of other teachers and I had a mini film fest to look at seven different documentaries with sustainable agriculture subjects to try to find the one we thought would be best for our students. "Fridays at the Farm" won the competition, and we showed it at our all school meeting to students, teachers and faculty. A number of faculty told me how much they enjoyed the film both for its content and its artistry. They are already asking to borrow it to watch it again. My own sixteen-year old son told me he thought it was a wonderful film, and he can be a tough audience. I loved "Fridays at the Farm" even more the second time I watched it. Thanks for making the film, and thanks for getting it into my hands!”

“Keep up the amazing work- the film is extremely moving. I have saved it on my TiVo and I watch at night after a long day- somewhat like meditation.”
-Francie B.W.
“I am in the food industry and have seen a lot of films about the state of food in the world, but have never seen a movie that gives so much hope and inspires people to think locally.”
-Peter D.
“I watched "Fridays" last night and wept. Your artistic delivery of this subtle yet powerful documentary unleashed a primal longing that was suppressed in me and may lie dormant in all human beings. The absolute beauty, tenderness, health and happiness captivated in this film reduced me to tears. I especially loved the planting of the baby lettuce with your baby into our mother earth so gingerly. The music compliments every scene perfectly making the visual, oral, and personal projections of this little movie so complete.”
-Ray and Helene G.
“My wife and I happened upon a beautifully produced short film/video about your farm a few weeks back. We were lucky to have seen it on 2 occasions and were absolutely entranced by the beauty of its message as well as the production, more specifically how it was edited from hundreds of still pictures.”
-Daniel & Julie B.
"This is was one of the most beautiful and artistic films I have seen. “Fridays at the Farm” is filled with humor, and portrays relevant messages about the connections of health and farms through a sweet and tender story that everyone from young to old will enjoy."

“I just showed it to a group of farm interns who are now bicycling across the country from farm to farm and they were saying they wished they could watch your movie every morning for inspiration.”
-Claire Murray

“I just saw your short documentary at the Ashland Film Festival in Oregon. I loved watching all the plants grow and hearing about your experience with time-share organic farming. It's a beautiful piece.”
